The Role:
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the company's technical and design activities, ensuring quality, adherence to deadlines, procedures and budget. He/she coordinates the various specialist departments and ensures the effective execution of orders received, promoting integration between the various internal skills and external partners. The position reports directly to the company's Chairman and involves daily collaboration with the sales and administrative departments.
Main responsibilities:
- Organisation and management of technical production: supporting Sector Managers in defining work plans, allocating resources for the preparation of technical tender documents and production orders, and monitoring the progress of order activities. Ensuring consistency between the internal structure, workloads and company strategies;
- Interdisciplinary coordination: supporting Sector Managers by ensuring technical integration between different specialisations;
- Quality control and regulatory compliance: ensuring that orders comply with technical standards, current regulations and the requirements of contracting authorities;
- Management of acquired orders: organising and directing activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets and contractual objectives, in coordination with the various sectors involved;
- Strengthening a network of external suppliers to better manage the workload;
- Relationships with internal resources and external stakeholders: assisting PMs in their relationships with clients and any sub-consultants;
- Optimisation of production processes: identifying areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, tools and internal procedures;
- Team management: motivating, training and developing Sector Managers, promoting professional growth and interdisciplinary collaboration;
- Economic control of production: monitoring costs and economic progress of orders, helping to ensure the sustainability of individual projects;
- Innovation and technical development: helping to promote innovative engineering and documentation solutions, also with the support of the Innovation Sector, in line with new requirements.
Requirements:
Training:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent under the old system;
- Registration in the Professional Register of Engineers;
- Specialisation in Project Management preferred.
The experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in companies in the sector;
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary coordination and technical management;
- Experience in the role of Technical Director.

- Focus on results, compliance with procedures and quality;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
